Parishioners will be observing the long awaited construction of our seven new Elder Homes on the grounds of the old parochial house. To be known as McCall's Cottages, they will continue the parish connection to the patriot poet, PJ M'Call. They are scheduled for completion after Easter 2017. Anyone contemplating a home in M'Call's Cottages for themselves or a loved one, should seek to get their name onto Wexford County Council, housing list as soon as possible. Enquiries can be made through any member of the Housing Association or Parish Council.
The farm buildings that border the old graveyard are to be partly demolished in coming weeks and the remaining boundary wall is to be repaired and levelled to a height of 2.1 metres. It is also planned to put a walk through gate from the cemetery to the garden of M'Call's Cottages. Any party having concerns about what is contemplated are invited to contact any member of the Committee.
