Kilmore Scouts want to thank all the Groups, of over 200 beavers, cubs, scouts, ventures,  rovers and scouters who attended the Wamboree.

What an idea..
To turn something we all enjoy doing, ie camping, into fundraising for those less well off than ourselves, was a gem of a brainwave by two 14 year old scouts Josh and Haley. It was a wonderful weekend with everyone enjoying Kilmore hospitality,  good weather,  fun activities, all capped off by a surprise visit of Chief Scout Christy McCann and  fantastic Campfire singing which could be heard all over the parish.

Thank you to the Quigley family who provided the site and services,  Fr. Denis Doyle and Parish, Mary Barrys, Murphys Daybreak, Pat Lambert, Bolgers Hardware, Brendan Hendrick,Jim Hurley, Elaine Walsh Sub Aqua Club, Clr Jim Moore, Chief Scout Christy McCann,  Wexford Scout Co, and especially our own leaders, scouts, ventures and parents who all helped make a dream a reality.
