Celebration,
The St. Annes junior football champions of 1966 are celebrating the 50th anniversary of their historic victory that year. This was the first ever adult county victory for the club. The venue for the celebration will be Baldwinstown Hall. This is the place which they used for togging out and planning, before going up to Rowe's field to train in the winter for the semi final and final and where all meetings of  the club took place at that time.  It is hoped to have all 24 members of that team or their relatives at the function. Noel Rochford from Kilmannon is hoping to be home for it from Australia and all are looking forward to a great night on Sunday 18th September.
