Drama
Ballycogley Players are putting on their festival production Lay Me Down Softly by Billy Roche In St Michaels Hall Wexford on 17th&18th February at 8pm. Tickets €10 at the door.  Set in the burlesque world of the Travelling roadshow in 1960's we meet characters who are drawn together in Delaney's boxing academy.  The arrival of Theo's estranged daughter and a professional boxer sets in train a sequence of events which have far reaching consequences for everyone. The play has Billy's trademark mix of real life, emotion and humour. Some strong language.
