There was one winner of last week’s jackpot of  €3,600. Congratulations Aidan Hogan!!The winning  numbers were 4,11,19,23. Congratulations to the twelve match 3 winners who each received €25. QQI (FETAC) Level 5, One year Certificate, 8 Modules including Web Authoring, The Internet and e-Business.  Phone 053-9135257 asap, pick up a brochure in local shops or apply online. Mature students, early school leavers, unemployed; all applications will be considered. No previous knowledge of IT required or previous qualifications necessary. If you have some time on your hands why not get in touch, we offer flexible hours for mature candidates, no experience necessary.  Possibility of completing the course over two years to suit individual needs etc.


St. Anne's Annual Golf Classic Friday 15th of July

Cleariestown Field Day and Patron
Our Annual Patron and Field Day will be held on Sunday July 3rd.  Mass commences at 1.30 pm. There is no 10am mass on that day. Field Day Immediately follows mass. This is our major Fundraiser for the running costs of our curacy. Raffle Tickets are being circulated and extra tickets are available from the vestry in Church .Please return tickets to parish council members or there will be a box at the back of Church. Donations are kindly being asked for bottle and produce stalls. Volunteers are much needed and appreciated. Thank you for your support.


Drama Camp
July 11th to 15th 2016 11am-2pm daily at Taghmon GAA Centre. Age 4 years to 14 years. Join us for summer fun . Explore drama and performance, through games, singing, dance and much more. Circus chuckles stage show
Circus chuckles stage show in  Rathangan Hall
 Thursday 30 June! Laser light, disco music, jugglers raffle, chuckles, huckster the clowns, daredevil fire breathers and much more. ShowTime 6pm to 7pm sharp! Doors open at 5.30 as a large crowd is expected. Price  5 per person. No sweets or drinks for sale but you can bring your own.


GAA Summer School30th of June to 2nd of July in Croke Park
The GAA Summer School will take place from Thursday 30th of June through to Saturday 2nd of July.  The theme of this Summer School is based on the recent publication The GAA & Revolution in Ireland from 1913 to 1923. Throughout these three days distinguished historians will deliver lectures looking at the GAA's role in the revolutionary period and the affect this period had on the GAA.  Tickets can be purchased on crokepark.ie/gaa-museum - One Day Ticket €30 or Three Day Ticket €80

 Sunny South East Strollers/Striders 
Sunny South East Strollers/Striders  - We meet every Monday evening at 7pm, (except Bank Holidays and weather permitting. We would like to invite anyone who would like to get out for a stroll/walk, who may have very low fitness levels. We have starter strolls for the month of January where we can start off with 10/15 minutes, taking small rests if necessary. The Strider Group will also meet at 7pm and walk for 35-45 mins. We have a cup of tea/ coffee & most importantly a chat afterwards. Tidy Towns
Duncormick Area Action Group has once again entered this year’s Tidy Town’s Competition with judging from June-August. We are appealing to everyone to help us in obtaining better results this year and be proud of our village. We would also like to ask everyone to use the litter bins provided in the village.

Reading room open to public Mondays excl bankholidays 10-1 to borrow, swop, read a full range of books. Women's Shed will continue  Mondays through out the summer for anyone interested in joining. All things gardening at moment, using pallets to make plant boxes, furniture, accessories and planting.

Wamboree 
Is a scout camp in aid of Syrian Refugee Crisis which Kilmore is hosting 24th-26th June.  Base camp is on Quigleys land down the lane in the village while activities will be taking place on various beaches in the Parish. A number of Groups from the County have confirmed attendance so far and thanks to some local business sponsorship all monies raised from camp and donations will be going to charity. The whole ethos of the weekend is fun, outdoors, and appreciation of what we have. More details next week

Rathangan parish council want to thank everyone who supported and helped  to make our tractor run a success last Sunday, it is very much appreciated. Total amount raised €2,110 Thank you.

 Hope Centre  Enniscorthy
The Hope Cancer Support Centre would like to invite you to their Garden Tea Party in their Centre at Weafer Street, Enniscorthy  on Sunday 26th June from 1 pm to 4 pm where you will get the opportunity the see the Centre and enjoy some refreshments and music in their beautiful garden. They look forward to meeting you and sharing this special ‘open day’ with you all. Free admission.
 
The Hope Cancer Support Centre will hold their annual Summer Solstice 5K Walk  and Ceremony of Light and Healing in Curracloe Beach on Tuesday 21st June at 8pm. Everyone invited  to come along and be part of this very special ceremony and to enjoy a peaceful and serene walk on this beautiful beach.
