There was no winner of last week’s jackpot of €3000. The winning numbers were 1, 20, 21, 27. Congratulations to the four match 3 winners who each received €75. The match three winners were Alan Cloney, Ronnie Doyle, June and Caroline Ellard, Catherine Walsh. The next lotto draw will be held on Tuesday 19th July 2016 and the Jackpot now stands at €3,300.

Keep Fit - TRX Classes & Pilates Classes
TRX Classes take place in the Club House every Monday and Wednesday evenings @ 6.30pm and Tuesday and Friday mornings @ 9.30am.  For further details please contact Kevin Cogley on 086-3656233.

Pilates Classes take place in Cleariestown Community Centre  on Tuesday evenings from 7.30pm to 8.30pm.  Bring a mat, towel and drinking water.  Cost is €8 and it is recommended to book a place. For further details please contact Teresa White on 089-4620552.

Danescastle Music Group
Danescastle Music Group will host Seisiún, an evening of traditional music, song and dance every Tuesday night in Loftus Hall commencing at 8.30 pm. New PLC course, e-Business, Many applications received lately, thank you all. Some places remaining. Please check out our website, (Bridgetown College), brochure or 053-9135257 for further information. Places will be filled on a 1st come, 1st served basis, no previous knowledge required, mature learners welcome.

Cleariestown Sewing and Knitting Club
Cleariestown Sewing and Knitting Club would like to think everyone who bought tickets for the Patchwork Quilt at the Cleariestown Pattern and Field Day. Winner of the Quilt was Ryan Scallon and the other prizes on the day were: Maggie Whitty , Anne Sinnott , Billy Jordan and Richard Rochford .

Cleariestown Tractor Run
Please note that the date of the tractor run has changed to Sunday 31st July. The run will consist of tractors, vintage cars and motorcycles. You can also run  or cycle. Registration begins at 12 noon at Cleariestown Community Centre. Run will commence at approx 1 pm. Refreshments served. All support greatly appreciated.

Scouts 
Kilmore scouts took part in the Seafood festival parade in Kilmore Quay last week. Brumjammers are making final arrangements for their big adventure when 38 adults and youths head to the International scout jamboree in Birmingham 29 July to 6 Aug.

 

Afternoon Tea and Garden Party 
The Skrine family have kindly offered to host an Afternoon Tea and Garden party on Sunday 7th August at Butlerstown Castle in aid of Tomhaggard social centre.  More details later.

Rathangan Annual Patron Mass
The annual patron mass will take place on Monday 15th August at 1.30 pm. Refreshments will be served at the School after mass. Tickets are now on sale for our annual Raffle. They can be bought at all local shops and business outlets in the Parish and from Parish Council members.

Ambrosetown Patron
The Ambrosetown Patron will take place on Wednesday the 17th August at 8pm. This year a collection of money will be held for essential maintenance to our graveyard. Wall repairs, gate repairs and protection of the church gable and window in the graveyard are all jobs that need urgent attention. With a little bit of support we can make a start on these jobs, over time. Wexford County Council will also be asked to support our project. Any help you can give, would be gratefully appreciated. Thank you.


Art in the open festival
Starts this Sunday at Redmond Square, with daily paint-outs throughout the Sunny South East, incl. Ballymore Demense, Inistioge, Tintern Abbey, Passage East and Curracloe Beach. Massive Exhibition of the best of the week’s creations at the OLD LIBRARY, (McCauley’s Car Park) August Bank Holiday Sunday (2-6pm) & Monday (10am-6pm) www.artintheopen.org

Farmers Market & Family Fun Day

On Saturday August 13th we are holding a Farmers Market & Family Fun Day at Rathangan Hall starting at 12pm. We’ll have all the usual fun activities for kids to do on the day, including Bouncy Castles, Archery,  Electric Zoo, Fun & Games, Face-painting, Hair-braiding and much more for the whole family to enjoy. The Farmers Market will be held at the Hall while the Fun Day will take place on the GAA Grounds. Meets every Saturday Morning at 10am at lay by beside Regal Lodge. New members always welcome.

Tomhaggard social centre 
A huge thank you to everyone who supported and helped out at last week's 5k Fun Run, Walk and Raffle in aid of the Social Centre. It was a fantastic community day in lovely sunshine with e2280 raised. The Centre was praised for how well it looks and the improvements are clearly seen, which the Committee hope will be used by the  community at large.
Women's Shed continues every Monday from10am to1pm, new members welcome. The Reading Room open at same time to borrow, swop or browse books.


Scouts
The Brumjammers are busy preparing for International Jamboree at end of month. The Scouts are putting a float in Seafood festival parade next Thur, which will be decorated at scout meeting Wednesday. All sections to meet in Kilmore Quay at 6.45 opposite Garda Station in full uniform.
