Community Lotto

There was no Jackpot winner this week. There were no Match Three Winners.  The winning numbers were  5, 17, 29 & 32.  The winners were Catherine Meyler & Pauline Moore.  The next lotto draw will be held on Tuesday 10th of March and the Jackpot now stands at €4,000.

 

Used Clothes Bag Collection - Cleariestown
With the playschool now closed for the summer the new Hall Committee will now host a fundraising clothes collection to take place at the end of July.  We are sure everybody has been busy cleaning and filling bags over the lockdown so now is the time to bring them over to the hall. To accommodate delivery of the bags there will be someone at the Hall over the next two weekends on Fri 3rd and  Sat 4th / Fri 10th and sat 11th  between 10am and 12 noon.  Please support this collection  and the  new Hall  Committee  as they are eager to get funds in so they can start planning future activities in the Hall.
Please donate all your clean unwanted clothes, shoes, bags, belts. Due to new regulations we can no longer accept bed linen, towels, curtains and soft toys. Thank you for your support.

Drive Thru Bingo
St Anne’s GAA club presents drive in social bingo on Saturday 4th at 8pm on GAA pitch, loads of cash prizes to be won on the day, all are welcome.

Split the Pot

Last week's Split the Pot winner was Paddy Doyle winning €100.   Next draw will take place on Thursday 12th of March in Sammy’s. Thank you for your support.

 Parent & Toddler Group

Our Parent & Toddler Group will commence on 24th of March at 10 a.m. till 11.30 a.m. upstairs in Rathangan Hall €3 per family all welcome.

 

Southeast Country Music Festival

 Southeast Country Music Festival which will be held on Sunday 26th of July 2020 at Killag, Duncormick, Co. Wexford.  Tickets are now on sale from the following outlets Murphy's Daybreak, Mace Kilmore quay, Billy Doyle's footwear Wexford and Enniscorthy, Rathangan Hall, Fr. Kevin Cahill Rathangan, Odlums Shop Baldwinstown and southeast festival committee members.  Ticket prices are €25 each. Children U14 are free accompanied by an adult.  Full Bar and Food service, Dance Floor, free on-site parking provided.  Bands featuring Mike Denver & Band, Gerry Guthrie, Olivia Douglas, Lee Mathews, Patrick Feeney supported by The Conquerors.  Hope to see you there!!

Registration Nights St. Anne's GAA Club - St. Anne's Ladies Football & Camogie GAA Club - St. Anne's Coiste Na nÓg GAA Club.
All three Clubs will hold their Registration Nights on Monday 9th of March and again on Thursday 19th of March in the Clubhouse from 7pm to 8.30pm

Saturday 14th of March will be St Anne's GAA Club's Strictly Come Dancing Semi-Final Night this will take place in the Gymnasium in Bridgetown Vocational College where our 10 Couples will go head to head/toe to toe to qualify for the Final, only 5 Couples go into the Final.  (Kilmore GAA Club's Semi-Final Night is Friday 13th of March)
Saturday 4th of April is Strictly Come Dancing Final Night where the 5 Couples who qualified on Semi-Final Nights from each Club will go head to head/toe to toe
 


Ticket Sales

Strictly Come Dancing Semi-Final Tickets will be on sale at the Club Shop On Tuesday between 8pm and 8.30pm and at the St. Anne's GAA Club Weekly Bingo on Wednesday Night.  There are a limited number of tickets left and are selling fast!!!!  €10 per ticket. 
Strictly Come Dancing Couples Fundraising.  So far Our Couples Fundraising Campaigns have been a huge success, thank you to everyone for their support.  We still have a number of Couples Fundraisers to come and we hope everyone will continue to support these Fundraising Campaigns.

Charlie White & Ciara Doyle's Strictly Fundraiser will take place on Sunday 22nd of March @ 5pm upstairs in the Clubhouse...... More details to follow.


St. Anne's Athletic Club 40th Birthday Celebrations
The Club are celebrating 40 years in existence and invite all adult members past and present to join us on the 1st of May in Rathangan Bar at 8.30 p.m.

St. Anne's GAA Club Weekly Bingo!!
No Snowball Winner last week so the €1,000 snowball still stands.  There's an extra number each week so this week it's up to 48 numbers.  Weekly St Anne's Bingo, starts Wednesday's at 9pm in Rathangan Bar.

Ballycogley Players
The cast & crew of "Dreamland" would like to say a big thank you to the wonderful audiences who supported us in Our Lady's Island & The National Opera House recently for our pre-festival performances. The feedback and reviews we have gotten so far have been wonderful and we really appreciate them all. Our first festival took place last weekend (Fri 21st Feb) in Rush, Co. Dublin. We cannot wait to continue our journey up and down the high ways and by ways of the country with this fantastic play. Our remaining festival dates and venues are as follows: 27th Feb - Kildare, 7th Mar - Ballinamore, Co.Leitrim, 11th Mar - National Opera House, 16th Mar - Shercock, Co.Cavan, 19th Mar - New Ross, 21st Mar - Carnew, Co.Wicklow & 22nd Mar Holycross, Co.Tipperary. Keep an eye on local press and our facebook page for results of festivals etc.

 

Cleariestown Community Playgroup 
Cleariestown Community Playgroup will be having a Fundraising used clothing collection on Monday 30th March.  Due to new regulations we can no longer accept bed linen , towels, curtains and soft toys. Please donate all your clean unwanted clothes, shoes, bags, belts.  You can drop off any items at the playschool any weekday morning between 9.30am -12.30pm. All proceeds from this collection will go directly to help with the running costs of our playroom within the Community Centre.  Thank you for your support. 

 
Foundation Camogie Course 
There will be a Foundation Camogie Course in Gusserane GAA Complex Tintern on Saturday 4th April. Places can be booked through Triona Doyle (087-2055889)

 

Sympathy
We extend sympathy to the family and relatives of Patrick (PJ) Jordan Tullycanna, Ballymitty who died during the week. May he rest in peace.
