There was no winner of last week’s jackpot of €13,800. The winning  numbers were 2, 10, 30 and 33. There were  two match three winners who receive €200 each. The winners were Graham Nolan, Mary Brophy. The next lotto draw will be held on Tuesday 4th September  and the Jackpot now stands at €14,000.

We extend sympathy to the family of Ollie Parle,  Longridge who died during the week. May he rest in peace.

Thank You

The Charity Drive held in Ballymagyr on Sunday 12th August was a great success. Thanks to all who contributed and helped in any way. A grand total of €2,765 was raised for Wexford Hospice Homecare.

Rathangan Variety Group Information Evening & Audition Dates

Rathangan Variety Group will hold their Information Evening about their forthcoming February 2019 Musical Production of  “9 to 5”on
Wednesday 12th September at 7.30pm in Rathangan Hall. The Group are celebrating their 20 year anniversary in February 2019 so this is a show not to be missed. Come along on the night and bring your friends to meet some of the production team and  find out about this great show. Please Note that Auditions for this show will be held on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th September in Rathangan Hall. Audition Material will be available to take away on the night. Looking forward to seeing you on the night.

Hits From The Musicals Concert Date for your Diary
Rathangan Variety  Group presents for one night only “Musical Memories of the  Last 20 Years” in Rathangan Bar on Thursday 4th October 2018, 8pm as a Fundraising Concert towards their February 2019 Production of“9 to 5” .Tickets are €10 and will be available from any committee member. They will also be available on the door on the night. Keep an eye on our facebook page as further details will follow nearer the time.

Area Water Supply
Following a recent meeting with local community members by engineers of WCC they highlighted the difficulties in maintaining water supply from the Taylorstown Treatment Plant incl; summer demands, high leakage, small storage capacity.
The area has recently been returned to the Taylorstown supply and with further upgrade works planned by end of 2018, this will further secure this situation. Please report any leaks in your area to 1890 278 278 which will be of benefit to retaining present supply or Jim at 087 2858278.

The results of the parish raffle are as follows, 1st prize 150 euro is Lucinda Martin, Foulksmills. 2nd prize hamper is Sue Mountford, Duncormick. 3rd prize 50 euro is Ann Banville,  Gibberpatrick. 4th prize Rathangan bar voucher Sandra O'Reilly, Duncormick. 5th prize  Rathangan bar Voucher Austin Murphy, Commons. Thanks to everyone who supported our raffle and we look forward to your continued support for the bingo.

Bingo back in Rathangan hall on Sunday the 9th of September at 2.30 The prize fund is 1,300 euro. We are introducing a snowball starting at 200 euro in 40 numbers. We would appreciate your support by donation or attendance on the day thank you.

Scout Registration and Information Evening
There's an important information meeting for parents of existing and prospective youth members on Wednesday 5th September 7.30-8.30. lt concerns new Governance requirements which impact on each Group so adults are urged to attend. 
Beavers (6-8) will resume Sat 8th Sept 10-11.30, Cubs (9-11) and Scouts (12-15) resume 12th Sept. There will be a meeting with Ventures (15-18) and Rovers (18-25) to plan and arrange start date. No change to Registration Fee for Scouting Ireland e45 and weekly subscription to Group e3. New male and female leaders needed to join the scouting adventure, all training provided.
